Job Description for Automation Digitalization Manufacturing Excellence Senior Manager

As Automation Digitalization Manufacturing Excellence Senior Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the Automated EDS Manufacturing line and own the transition from the prototype facility to the in plant pilot line.  

Your role

• Coordinate with project development teams to identify required automation equipment.  Coordinate ordering, installation and readiness,

• Production line/area installation planning & leadership; Ensure the installation of the production lines/processes with equipment ensuring the ergonomic, health and safety, quality and efficiency conditions.  Working closely with ME and Ops to secure space and conditions.

• Develop implementation plan of new process and equipment and follow main KPI

• Monitor the investments, reporting and create initiatives to minimize investment.

• Lead the implementation of developments & innovation of the technological processes for manufacturing after the proto phase.

• Assure startup of pilot project in selected facility with focus on coordination of suppliers and handover activity with central manufacturing team.

• Coordination of prototypes from the automated facility and associated planning.

• Develop and manage staff, define career path and manage talent

• Contribute to the delivery of the functional budget and overall EMEA PE census and forecast

Your Background:

• Degree in related field

• Minimum 10 Years experience working within the Automotive EDS industry, specifically ME tools and processes

• Demonstrable track record of delivering EDS manufacturing capabilities

• Strong communication skills (verbally/written) and analytical skill set

• Good leadership skills and trainer skills

• Good decision making skills and organization skills
