Job Description for Process Engineer

Your Roles

• Support “Product Line” product launches  from DV to series of production.
• Enforce proper requirements management, Provide people and equipment resource to support proto/engineering builds, capability studies, etc.. and feedback build findings such as design/test/supplier related issues.
• Provide engineering resource to support & to be trained during Machine development, qualification and release for production.
• Build new Special purpose machines and fixtures or tools for the new product launches and release.
• Support and report day-to-day activities to improve/maintain production SPQVC KPIs (such as equipment OEE, FTQ, etc)
• Supporting team members of production meetings (DPM, Operations review, MRVA, Quality review, Escalations, etc.)
• Maintain & fulfill master PM schedule & optimize machine up-time

• Develop the production line concept with optimized material flow, estimated cycle times, and traceability concept
  • Plan and conduct LSR, documentation, close findings & share lesson learnt
  • Review with IE on capacity planning, purchase and install equipment/tooling for capacity increase needs.
  • Attend the regular PDT meetings and drive a proper escalation in case of problems, based on LME request or even on representation

• Develop the production line concept with optimized material flow, estimated cycle times, and traceability concept 
• Create and maintain the Manufacturing Engineering project schedule.
• Prepare, organize and attend the milestone build dates
• Drive and track P-FMEA, respecting Functional Safety aspects
• Plan, define, procure and track needed process technology  and equipment for production
• Participate in escalation meetings on program management level and with customer.
• Support kick-off meetings and MSD workshops with/in the PML, create/adapt process flow.
• Drive DFM and DFA to ensure having a producible design.
• Ensure supplier packaging requirements are met.
• Attend the regular PDT meetings and drive a proper escalation in case of problems.
• Create and maintain the MFGE project schedule with regard to the project milestones.
• Prepare and organize the milestone build dates with process engineers from PML, starting with early prototype builds and organization of needed prototype equipment, including documentation.
• Attend key (prototype) build events for new layouts and all customer attended events.
• Drive and track P-FMEA, respecting Functional Safety aspects with related documentation.
• Plan needed equipment/technology, manage SOW and equipment procurement.

Your Background

• Bachelor degree in Engineering
• Business fluent English.
• Proficient in Electronic Manufacturing Process, FA of electronic products; Fixture development
• Knowledge in PLC ladder logic; ATLAS Copco fastening; HMI; Load Cell; Torque Cell; CAD; 
• Knowledge in SSFT and statistical methods; Good problem solving capability.
• Ability to work and live a global network environment
