Job Description for Senior Engineer Embedded AI (f/m/d)

One key enabling technology for autonomous driving is and will be artificial intelligence (AI). We are searching for a highly talented Senior Engineer Embedded AI who will help to develop and realize our next generation embedded software, infrastructure and enabling tools for AI focused perception systems.

Your Role

• Development of artificial intelligence (AI) focused perception systems in large project context

• Work hands-on on ML perception algorithms

• Efficient implementation and integration

• Benchmark and develop prototypes for proof of concept phase

• Develop and apply tools and methods enabling related activities

• Support hardware selection processes and become company expert for AI SoCs

Your Background

• Ph.D. or Master degree in in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field

• Hands-on expert with proven background in embedded software development

• Must have strong programming skills (at least one of C, C++, RUST)

• Mathematical skills and ability to understand, implement and change complex algorithms

• Familiar with instruction sets and memory architectures, AI accelerators, DSPs

• Experience with ML ecosystems: Keras, Tensorflow, Pytorch, TFLite, TVM, … is a plus

• Experience with fixed point implementation and quantization is a plus

• Knowledge about perception (any domain, vision, radar, lidar) and machine learning algorithms beneficial

• Ability to work self-reliant, systematic and driven by goals, teamplayer, good communicator
