Job Description for Software Test Engineer

About this Position

Your official position is a Software Engineer with focus on software tests for automotive infotainment systems for drivers and passengers. In practice, this means co-developing software for electronic devices based on microcontrollers and systems on a chip (SoC) inside the software development team. Your job will be to develop and use of special test environments for testing software modules standalone as well as integrated into actual end product with hardware. You will have the opportunity not only to write software but also to build test setups for our products. Tests are mostly automatic, so their creation is also an opportunity to develop programming skills.

Your Role

• Develop and document test automation tools

• Develop, maintenance and document the automatic test environment and automatic tests

• Work with ITV teams on the improvements of automatic test environment and automatic tests

• Support ITV teams in testing

• Develop technical solutions of problems.

• Active participation in test automation tools design and reviews.

• Active participation in test automation meetings.

• Active participation in technical innovations and organization programs

Your Background

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science or related

• Good C,C++ programming skills

• Basic knowledge of Python or any scripting language

• Smooth adopt to new technologies

• Strong problem solving skills and ability to learn

• Professional experience in software Integration Tests

• Basic knowledge of electronics

• Experience in embedded system architecture and real time software development
