Vehicle Systems Test Intern

Position Summary

Our team is taking a main role in the final step of Active Safety systems verification: functional tests in prototype vehicles. Our Engineers are responsible for creating complete set of test procedures, performing tests on test track using dedicated vehicles and special test equipment, analyzing results and preparing test reports. Due to complexity of active safety systems and petabytes of data for analysis, our main challenges are: smart approach to testing and development of dedicated software tools. Join our international team working on Active Safety and Autonomous Driving vehicles algorithms and products development, with vision, radar systems and lidars. We looking for the Intern to support in executing data analysis tasks according to APTIV processes and project guidelines.

Your Role

• Close cooperation with engineers responsible for testing autonomous vehicle systems to ensure the process correctness

• Providing support in data analysis

• Providing support in analysis and reporting of errors

• Providing support in preparation of scripts and documentation of test results

• Participation in functional tests performed in cars - if necessary

• Taking care of the good image of the company

• Taking care of confidential information and the company's property

• Timely realization of assigned tasks in accordance with APTIV quality processes and project guidelines

Your Background

• Study at university in the field of technical sciences related to electronics, computer science, automatics and robotics or related

• Proficiency in the use of computers and MS Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook)

• Student status (3rd or 4th year, Bachelor degree in engineering is preferred)

• Availability (minimum 20 h per week but not more than 35h)

• A good command of English

• Communication skills and the ability to cooperate in the team

• Knowledge of script’s programming languages (Python) will be an asset
